Crinas is the management app for people who work with horses in Portugal. Health, farrier, feeding, livery, lessons, breeding and competitions in one place, on the phone of whoever looks after the horses.
A note on language: this site and sign-up are in English, but the app itself and the user guide are currently in Portuguese. An English app is planned; tell us if it matters to you.

Breed, colour, pedigree and photo. Passport, insurance and reports stored with an expiry date: we warn you before they lapse.
Health and farrier
Vaccines, worming, dentist and Coggins with intervals per horse, plus the farrier cycle. Email reminders before the deadline.
Medication
Courses with doses at each time of day, linked to the injury they treat. The groom ticks «given» on the phone, and a missed dose becomes an alert.
Injuries and photos
A cut, a swelling, a wound: log it and photograph it on the phone. The healing is kept on a day-by-day timeline, and we flag it if nobody has checked it for three days.
Feeding
Each horse's plan, a meal sheet for the team, and stock with the days it will still last. It warns you when the hay is running out.
Weight and body condition
Measurements over time, with a chart, and a list of horses outside the ideal range in the reports.
Facilities
Barns, stalls and paddocks laid out like your yard, with who is where and the free stalls at a glance.
Alerts and search
An email every morning with what needs attention, and a search that finds horses, students and documents.
For the business
Livery
Monthly fee per horse, the month's extras, an email summary, who is overdue and payment reminders. The invoice comes from your certified invoicing software.
Riding school
Timetable per instructor, students with guardians, attendance, make-up lessons, monthly fees and progress notes. It warns you when a school horse is working too much.
Owner portal
Each owner sees their horses' health, weight, injuries under treatment with photos and the monthly summary, without phoning. You choose what is visible.
Guardian portal
Timetable, attendance, make-up lessons, fees and the progress notes the school wants to share.
Team and roles
Manager, Team and Groom see and do only what is theirs. The instructor teaches the rider, the trainer works the horse.
Reports and spreadsheet export
Occupancy, ageing debt, care, lessons and competitions. Export to your accountant's Excel.

Entries and results per horse and rider, and the «ready to compete» check: vaccine, Coggins, passport and insurance valid on the day.

Coverings, check ultrasounds and the expected foaling date. The foal is born with its own record and its dam and sire linked.
Owner portal
Fewer phone calls asking how the horse is.
Each owner gets a link of their own and sees what the stable wants to show: the last shoeing, upcoming vaccines, weight, current medication, injuries and the monthly fee summary. Nothing to install: it opens on the phone.

Competitions
Know, before you load the lorry, whether the horse can go.
For each entry, Crinas checks what it already knows: vaccine and Coggins valid on the day of the class, passport and insurance in the documents, shoeing up to date and a rider chosen. If something is missing it shows up in an alert two weeks ahead.

Android app · in development
In the barn, with no signal, Crinas keeps working.
We are building an Android app for the people on the ground: grooms, staff and instructors. It opens on Today, ticks off tasks, meals and doses, adds notes and weight, and logs injuries with a photo. Everything is stored on the phone and syncs when the signal returns. It is being tested in a real stable and is not on the Play Store yet.

Whoever picks a paid plan during the launch keeps this price for as long as they are a customer, even if prices rise later. Places are limited.
All prices include VAT. For now payment is yearly, by bank transfer or Multibanco reference, and does not renew by itself: if you do not renew, the stable moves to the Free plan and your data stays. Monthly payment arrives with online payment and can be cancelled whenever you like. No lock-in.

Is Crinas available in English?
This website and the sign-up are. The app itself, the user guide and the pages your clients see in the owner portal are currently in Portuguese. An English app is planned. If you would like to follow it, or an English interface decides it for you, write to us.
How does the 30-day trial work?
You create the account and the stable and immediately have every feature of the Coudelaria plan, with no limit on horses, for 30 days. We do not ask for a card. We email you a week before it ends.
Is there a guide to learn Crinas?
Yes, but it is in Portuguese. The user guide is organised by task: first steps, horses, day to day, livery, lessons, competitions, breeding and access. It has images of a sample stable, and each page says which plan it depends on.
What happens when the trial ends?
The stable moves to the Free plan and all your data stays. You can keep looking at everything, but you can only add records up to the Free plan's limits. If you want to keep everything, choose a plan and we activate it the same day.
How much does it cost afterwards?
There is the Free plan up to 5 horses, the Cocheira (Stable) plan at €299 a year (up to 30 horses), the Escola (Riding school) plan at €479 a year (up to 60 horses, with lessons, team and competitions) and the Coudelaria (Stud farm) plan at €599 a year (unlimited, with breeding). Prices include VAT, paid once a year by bank transfer or Multibanco reference, with no lock-in and no automatic renewal. Monthly payment (Cocheira €29, Escola €49, Coudelaria €59) arrives with online payment.
What support do I get?
All plans have email support, in Portuguese or English. On the Free plan we reply with no guaranteed time, on the Cocheira and Escola plans within 3 working days and on the Coudelaria plan, with priority, within 1 working day. If you would rather we set everything up for you, we offer installation and training at an agreed price.
Does Crinas suit riding schools?
Yes. The Escola plan has a lesson timetable, students with guardians, attendance, make-up lessons, fees per student, progress notes, the team of instructors and trainers and the guardian portal. The Free plan lets you try it with up to 10 students and 1 instructor.
Does Crinas issue invoices?
No. Crinas prepares the monthly summary for each owner and student, and the invoice is issued in the certified invoicing software you already use, such as Moloni or InvoiceXpress.
I only have a few horses. Is it worth it?
Yes. With a few horses, the reminders for vaccines, farrier and insurance already save phone calls and forgotten jobs. The Free plan covers up to 5 and the Cocheira up to 30.
What if I go over my plan's limits?
You lose nothing. All your data stays; you just cannot create new records, or use the areas the plan does not include, until you upgrade.
Who on the team sees what?
There are three roles. The Manager has access to everything, including payments and access. The Team works with horses, health, lessons, students and breeding, but does not see livery, payments or the financial report. The Groom sees the horses, ticks off tasks, meals and doses, adds notes and logs injuries with photos.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in the browser on your phone, tablet and computer, and you can add it to your home screen like an app. The Android app, for working offline, is in development.
Where is my data? And what if I want to leave?
The data is on servers in the European Union, it belongs to the stable and we process it on its behalf. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. You can export everything, including photos and documents, and delete the stable whenever you like. Read the privacy policy (in Portuguese).
Does it connect to the official horse registry?
There is no automatic connection. The record stores the UELN, the microchip and the studbook number, so you have everything to hand when you need it.
